Hello, world.
This is Jeffrey, my baby sister's first (and after 18 hours of labor, she thinks "only") baby.
He came yesterday via C-section at 3:39 p.m. weighing in at 8 lbs 6 oz. and 21 inches long.
I met him a half hour after he was born. Oh, so fresh from heaven.
I am smitten.

She thinks he her only one? Funny, but precious.
smooches,

with time you forget and want another...its the beauty of motherhood...took me three times to figure it all out and go HECK NO...and yet - i feel that tug every once and a while...a new tiny baby, with that smell. The way the move in your arms, and nursing and cuddeling...crud - now i want another.
Beautiful baby! Thanks for sharing the picture.
Thanks, ladies!
This baby is well loved already.
Yesterday, my husband and I visited him and we were transported back to when our boys were babies. The minute I carried him in my arms, the thought entered - maybe another? Then the reality - we're done, in the medical sense. And sadness and gratitute at the same time. :)

Congrats to your sis.
Beautiful baby boy!! Enjoy him. He's precious. We will get our new one in about a month. I can't wait!!
Congratulations to a new Aunt too !
My arms feel that little bundle still.....
blessings to all of your family.
Welcome, Jeffery!!!
I hear what you're saying (and brokenwomen, too) about wanting another. We are done in the sense that I had my tubes tied seven years ago. And I am good with that!
But last month my period was late and I was seriously thinking I was pregnant. Until that happened I was sooooo totally convinced being "done" was a good thing. But then thinking I might be pregnant, I got so excited at the prospect. In fact when my period finally did come, I was rather disappointed.
I know it's all up to God, and He will do what is good and right, and BEST. And right now, I think my role with babies is one of supporting other mothers - giving them the break they need so they can love their babies more!
Hope you truly enjoy you're new little nephew!
